SEPTEMBER OCTOBER NOVEMBER DECEMBER

Jaz: "You ought to be ashamed of yourself ‐ look at the wiring." This time we were in McDonalds. Melanie's nursery. Marianne checks out the hammock again. Kitchen under construction ‐ thus the mess on the right. Cabinets going in. A panorama of construction. Counter yet to be fitted. More cabinets installed. The washing machine, fridge and freezer from London. Outside the kitchen door view of the office. A lovely salad made by Melanie. Richard Burton and Leo McKern in a grim portrayal of brutality. When we were in Rome, Melanie and I went to visit the Ardeatine Caves to pay our respects to Heinz Eric Tuchmann and all of the others who were murdered there. DNA was still required to identify many, and I read now that since we were there, it has been provided for Heinz Eric by Tuchmann relatives from America. Heinz Eric Tuchmann The kitchen fitters provided doors and draw fronts for our wardrobes. Guess who. Marianne at the door. Tin collection going up. Our temporary setup for the duration. Counter installed and new blinds too. Fresh eggs from our hen's bum's. New microwave. All ready to be cluttered up with our junk as we unload our kitchen boxes from London. Oh no... Marianne has got hold of ... Mummy's phone again. TCS ‐ maybe. A monogrammed napkin from the Tuchmann house in Schlegelstrasse, Nuremberg. Additional blinds ‐ in the office and living room. New homemade cabinet for the DVDs. Marianne with the three bears in the pink guest room. Melanie's Cactus collection. Madeleines turned out ok - first proper baking in the new kitchen. Marianne at her dressing table. One of Peter McCauley's qualifications ‐ God rest his soul. Malachy started sorting out the legacy of documents ‐ crate loads of them. Scanner ordered. Family letters and cards, a few going back to the 1930s. What have you been up to, Marianne? Here's the tank at the back of the house that holds our domestic water for the day. It goes through two filters for general use and six for drinking. It gets filled at 4am. Our home ‐ for wayward boys and girls. Bedroom wardrobe complete. Our nephew and neice Zion and Lexi. Tried bread rolls but my tecnique needs working on. Quarantine. Passes required for alternate days. The pharoe and his sister. Marianne's card to her cousin Geko (Rhojeric). A print I made for some table coasters which have since been broken by u‐no‐hoo. A Cabinet Card of my grandfather John McCauley which led me to start a genealogical study.
