Born 24th July 2016 at 9.19pm at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Stadium Rd, London SE18 4QH

This little movie was taken by daddy in the recovery room where Marianne is being weighed. 10.13pm (she weighed 3.018 kg).

Baby Marianne was induced - due on 4th August. Forceps were tried but an emergency cs procedure was required. Malachy was with Melanie for part of the time in theatre until it was found that the cs was required. A few days later Marianne had a bout of jaundice which was quickly remedied by the excellent facility and staff at the hospital using mysterious blue light!. Thanks to fine care and the concentrated monitoring of Melanie and Marianne, we were all able to return home together on Sunday 31st July.

Marianne is named after her Great Grandmother Marianne Tuchmann (nee von Seidlein), her Great Grandmother Annie McCauley (nee Conlon) and her Grandmother Annamarie McCauley (nee Tuchmann), all on her Dad's side of the family tree.
